Excellent Surgeon. Dr. Peyton is one of the best! He listens very well to the patients needs. He’s very serious and lighthearted as well. I’ve been seeing him for years. I’ve been going to A&S for over a decade. The staff has been very nice to me. Sorry, but I have nothing but nice things to say about Arthritis and Sports. They’re definitely worth checking out. These people are professionals! I had a pinched nerve for two months. I don’t live in Sterling and, sought care near where I live to no avail. The very first appointment reduced my pain. The staff promised to reduce my pain from a rated 46 to 15 or 20! I had a massage the next day and the masseuse worked only on the area effected, where the pinched nerve is located, versus previous provided a full-body massage! I highly recommend Arthritis & Sports!

Dr. Peyton, Edwin and the rest of the staff are superb. They Receptionist & Schedulers especially the Physical Therapy front desk personnel are very helpful and extremely patient, they do whatever they can to get you scheduled with you convince in mind.

Great staff and Doctor Ahillen was personable, professional and i will return However, i had to waiting 35 min from appt time.

They have done such a great job! Two surgeries and rehab!

I have been going to Arthritis & Sports from shoulder pain to nerve pain to a full knee replacement. I have had excellent care throughout with every practitioner. I have had the good fortune to have seen Edwin (PA) the majority of my visits…he’s fantastic! Knee injections are literally painless with Edwin. The PT dept is also excellent (and it’s a 30 minute drive for me). I won’t go anywhere else for my orthopedic issues. Bravo!!

Dr. Holden is very nice, highly knowledgeable and takes her time with patients. Great with kids too. I highly recommend Dr. Holden.

Arrived 15 minutes early, very busy yet I was quickly processed and taken to appointment room. Within 10 minutes X-rays completed and Dr Payton arrived within 15 minutes to discuss my symptoms and the X-rays. Very professional and courteous staff!

Dr. Peyton took a botched surgery that another doctor had done on my broken hip and put in a new hip replacement and within two weeks I was in almost no pain and able to walk almost as well as before I broke my hip.

One of the best decision I made was coming to Arthritis & Sports for my knee injury! I heard about this office from my senior friends and true to their words, people here were very professional. It was a breeze to make an appointment and the staff were friendly and attentive. They attended to patients with a smile on their faces. Dr Edwin explained my situation and administered aspiration and steroids shot in my knee for temporary relief. He ordered MRI for further evaluation of my knee. He was very patient and listened to my concerns. He has a very good bedside manner. Victor, the x-ray technician was very confident, professional, friendly, and skilled. His was simply remarkable! I will surely recommend this facility to anyone!

I have moved to the Austin, Tx area, thus I miss the care I received by the professional at Arthritis and Sports. I almost exclusively saw Edwin Encarnacion, PA-C. Edwin always took time to explain any new procedure. He was a true master of knee injections. When Edwin was not available I would see Lisa Slidell, FNP-BC. If a shot in a knee can be pain free, Lisa is the pro. Maybe I am writing too much about receiving shots for knee pain, but it is an area of concern since moving to Texas. I have received shots in Texas and the outcome has never been as good as the care I received from Arthritis and Sports. I know I will need knee surgery on my left knee in the future. I will return to Northern Virginia, have my surgery performed by Dr. Peyton, with follow-up care by Edwin and Lisa. Thank to the wonderful medical professionals at Arthritis and Sports Orthopedics!

I went to Dr. Peyton as a fourth opinion for a very painful nerve problem I was having with my knee that had been going on for over a year and no other doctor could figure out how to fix. I brought all my scans, tests and notes from the other doctors and he went through everything and figured out the problem and how to fix it within a matter of minutes. I had surgery the following week and the problem is now resolved and I’m no longer in pain. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is very professional. I highly recommend!

I have had nothing but good experiences so far. I bright my son in for knee pain to see Dr. Holden. Sure was great with him and explained things thoroughly. I liked her so much that when he broke his arm a few months later, I took him straight to her! He was terrified of doctors after the ER visit but Dr. Holden and her staff were all very patient and kind. They convinced him to change the splint to a brace by explaining that it looked just like Batman’s armor. 😍 I made an appointment for my own ankle as we were leaving his last visit.
