Here's What Our Patients Say About Us

I was referred to Dr. Underwood by my physical therapist. He was an excellent recommendation. He takes the time to really listen to you, is kind, and patient. I’ve had two ESIs with him for a herniated disc and the treatment is significantly less uncomfortable than with other doctors. He does caudal injections where they inject near your tailbone instead of the middle of your spine. I have only had mild pain or no pain at all with this method. Highly recommended!

I just had another epidural injection with Dr. James Underwood — I believe this was my sixth one with him. I’m currently trying to postpone surgery for as long as possible because I have two little children at home, and throughout this entire process Dr. Underwood has been incredibly kind, understanding, and compassionate. He truly cares about his patients. I’ve even had to bring my kids with me to appointments, and he and his office have always been accommodating and supportive. During one consultation, he saw how much pain and discomfort I was in, and when I asked if there was any way he could fit me in sooner, he immediately said he would do everything he could — and he got me in the very next day. I highly recommend Dr. Underwood to anyone dealing with back pain or needing pain management care. His professionalism, empathy, and dedication to his patients mean so much.

Dr Ahillen & Dr Underwood are excellent, very personable, show compassion & communicate clearly what your situation is & the possible treatment options. I am being treated for numbness in fingers after carpal tunnel surgery & was given several options for treatment which were fully explained to me & clearly answered any questions I had.
