
Medical Assistant
We are currently looking for full-time medical assistant for our busy Orthopaedic practice in Sterling, VA. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform detailed and accurate patient histories and intakes
Ensure patient charts contain all pertinent information and update EHR as needed
Alert providers of patients' allergies and reason for visit
Oversee and ensure the efficient turnover of exam rooms
Comply with patient needs at all times.
Assist providers with injections, aspirations, castings and/or other procedures as necessary
Remove dressings, casts, sutures, etc. as instructed
Instruct patients regarding information needed before they leave the office to include:
Use of DME
Cast care instructions
Apply knowledge of sterile techniques, OSHA regulations and follow HIPAA policies
Maintain exam rooms in a neat and clean manner at all times
Monitor supply levels and replace as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
