Dr. Sam Wilson Announces Retirement

It was with a mixture of sadness and joy that Dr. Wilson announced his retirement this year, after over 30 years of providing compassionate healthcare to the community. It had been a pleasure and a great privilege for him to have provided care to so many patients over the years, but the time was right for Dr. Wilson to step away from medicine and into the next chapter of his life.

Throughout his long and respected career, Dr. Wilson cared for thousands of patients in and around the community. A graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Dr. Wilson completed his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. After completing his orthopaedic residency at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, he completed his foot and ankle fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Arthritis & Sports acknowledges Dr. Wilson for his many years of dedicated service to our community. We are extremely grateful for the high-quality service Dr. Wilson has provided for our patients, and wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement.
