Deanna Busteed, Dietitian and Sports Nutritionist

Deanna Busteed is a registered and licensed dietitian with a board certification in Sports Nutrition. She brings more than 14 years of experience developing health programs as well as providing cutting-edge nutrition counseling and services to a wide variety of individuals and groups. Her specialties include health promotion, disease prevention, weight management, sports nutrition, wellness, and fitness. Deanna also has extensive experience working with vegetarian diets, celiac disease and eating disorders.


Bethann Brennan, Certified Massage Therapist

Bethann Brennan has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for almost 10 years. She is certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and is a graduate of the Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington DC in 2004.


Tracy Childs, Master Aesthetician

Tracy joins Arthritis & Sports Orthopaedics Wellness with more than 8 years of aesthetics experience and 1,400 hours of training. She attended the Yvonne de Vilar Scientific Skincare School for her initial 600 hours of training and returned to graduate in the first 600-hour master aesthetician program in Northern Virginia. Additionally, she earned a postgraduate diploma from The International Dermal Institute. Tracy has spent most of her career providing clinical treatments in busy dermatology practices and medical spas. Her passion for skincare comes from personal struggles with acne, acne scarring, and hormone-related skin discoloration.


Nicole Hampton, Personal Trainer

Nicole Hampton is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise and a certified nutrition and wellness consultant through American Fitness Professionals and Associates. She has an associates degree in physical therapy and is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She has 14 years of experience in the healthcare and fitness industries.


Ryan Snead, Personal Trainer

Ryan Snead is a certified ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. He graduated from Messiah College with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science.


Marlo Corpuz, Personal Trainer

Marlo Corpuz is a certified NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist. He graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a B.S. in Sport and Exercise Science.


TJ Magill, Fitness Instructor

TJ Magill is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise. She has been working in the fitness industry for 10 years as a personal trainer, group exercise/boot camp instructor, and as a physical therapy tech assistant. She completed continuing education courses in the areas of golf conditioning, core conditioning, Pilates, and older adult exercise program design. TJ had her own personal training business for 6 years before she joined the Arthritis & Sports team.


Alison Macpherson, Fitness Instructor

Alison has been in the fitness industry for over 25 years teaching fitness classes, training clients and working with adolescents and seniors.


Pat Pao, Yoga Instructor

Patricia has been in teaching yoga in the DC area since 2001. She has studied extensively at Health Advantage Yoga Center since 1998 and has completed the HAYC Teacher Training Program, Radiant Child, Yoga 4 Teens & Yin Yoga Teacher Training programs.


Lori Green, Yoga Instructor

Lori is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200), a Relax and Renew Restorative yoga teacher and a Certified Soma Practitioner (CSP).


Gretchen Schutte, Yoga Instructor

Gretchen is a certified RYT200 yoga teacher and has taken teaching intensives in Laughing Yoga and Yoga Nidra.


Robert Price, Personal Trainer (Sub)

Robert Price is a certified ACSM Health Fitness Specialist and USATF Level 1 coach. He graduated from Salisbury University with a B.S. in Exercise Science and M.S. in Applied Health and Physiology concentrating in Strength and Conditioning. He specializes in sports specific training, strength and conditioning, sprinting mechanics, and functional exercise.


Kim Albuerne, Yoga Instructor (Sub)

Kim Albuerne has been an instructor in the fitness industry for many years. Her certifications include: AFAA Group Exercise, Power House International Pilates, Les Mills Body-flow Yoga and SPIN. Her deep appreciation of the benefits of yoga lead her to also finish her Registered Yoga Teacher Training 200 Hours (RYT200). Kim's experience and love of the practice are evident in her enthusiastic yet nurturing teaching style.


Mary Gualtieri, Yoga Instructor (Sub)

Mary began doing yoga over ten years ago to complement triathlon training. As a former collegiate diver, Mary enjoys the awareness that yoga teaches in the body and enhanced mental focus it cultivates in the mind. It is important to build discipline and to make each class a unique and fun experience. Mary strives to guide her students to increased flexibility as well as enhanced strength and balance in the mind and body.
