Dear Dr. Wilson,
Hi from your new pal in Oklahoma City!!! Hope you remember me...I'm Donna, the sister of your patient, Linda. She had right foot surgery on Friday, 03/04/11. I wanted to write you a short note now that I've returned home to tell you THANKS for caring for my sister. She has total trust in your orthopaedic ability and this is reassuring to me and to all of our family. We are most appreciative of your treatment to correct the problems in Linda's right foot. As a Flight Attendant with American Airlines, her feet are a vital part of her career responsibilities, and with the surgery you preformed, she is confident she will be able to fulfill her duties on the planes with ease, safety, and stability. For this, we are truly thankful.
Dr. Wilson, from the bottom of my heart, please accept my words of praise and gratitude for your caring of my sister. She means the world to me (and to the rest of our family), so we are thrilled to know she is in "good hands" by being your patient.

May God bless you and your wonderful office staff,

A very sincere Thank You to each and every one of you for making my recent foot surgery physical therapy a success. All of you contributed to my well-being and healing, and I wanted to say "Thank You" for your kindness.
The day I "graduated" was both encouraging and sad at the same time. Every time I entered the Physical Therapy office, I was welcomed and given excellent treatment and friendship. My thanks especially to Phyllis Kassel for your joyful smile upon entering; Laresha Ernest-Farmer for scheduling various appointments; Donna Burrell and Dawn Carlson for your hands-on-healing; Caroline Lee and Nicole Hampton for you exceptional neck therapy (feeling much better, thank you); and to Gary, John, Jen and Ryan for always making my therapy happy and fun. All of you are the best, and I thank you for your kindness to me.

Dr. Griffith:
On 2/15 it will be a year since my bicep tendon repair. I have made an awesome recovery thanks to you and everyone involved. The PT group was by far the best team of people around. I was at full strength and stronger by August. Things I am able to do now physically/athletically would have never been possible pre-op. Thank you very much!

Here is a photo of me finishing at the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. I never could have done this without you. Thank you! Have a wonderful holiday.

Dear Dr. Peyton,
A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I returned from the Grand Canyon. When we were taking a particularly long hike, I thought about how incredible it was that I was even there! And taking a hike too! A year ago, before my hip replacement surgery, It would have been impossible to take such a trip! But, thanks to you and your team, I was able to visit the North and South Rims and have a “grand” time! Thank you doesn’t express how grateful I am every day for the ability to walk again without pain, but I wanted to let you know how much you’ve made a difference in my life! Happy Fall!

Hello Stephanie:
I wanted to say "thank you" for all your service in helping me with my right elbow (surgery) these past few months. You are very professional, yet I can tell that you really enjoy position and career! My elbow is getting better every week, and I'm feeling like it's getting close to normal. I hope you enjoy your family (and little one!) over the holidays, and thank you again!

In early May, Dr. Peyton looked at my X-Rays and told me I needed Total Hip Replacement Surgery. Since I was 44 years old, I was in disbelief that I needed Hip Surgery. I told him of the impending Adoption of our soon to be son from China and that I liked to walk, run, and play with my daughter. My wife and I were also nervous about the possibility of disqualification of our adoption. I was concerned that I would not be able to play with, hold and carry my son. He laid out the advantages and disadvantages allowing me to make an informed decision. The decision was easy.
I had Total Hip Replacement Surgery on Tuesday, 12 June 2007 at 7:30AM. At noon on the same day, I went for the first walk on my new hip. Two days later I was discharged from the hospital. I was back to work in a month and walking without a cane in 7 – 8 weeks. On 28 October 2007, four and a half months after surgery, I as part of our Adoption Group visited the Badaling area of the Great Wall near Beijing, China for site seeing. There are two directions you can travel along the Great Wall from the Badaling Site; steep and steeper. My wife and I took the steeper route!
As a result of the surgery, I can walk, run, and play with my Children thanks to Dr. Peyton and Arthritis & Sports Orthopaedics & Physical Therapy.

I spent several months in physical therapy this year due to recovery from ankle surgery and other issues. Physical therapy is not an easy process, but everyone I met at Arthritis and Sports was polite and helpful. They made physical therapy as positive an experience as possible. I always knew I could count on a friendly atmosphere in the office, which made me feel more comfortable.
I especially want to thank Gary Yagoda and John Rector. Gary was very professional and just as important, he was always very kind, patient, and encouraging. John was always welcoming and pleasant when I first arrived for my appointments.

Thank you, once again, for a very positive experience,

Dear Dr. Peyton,
Greetings from one of your hip patients. Thanks to you I am able to hike the Swiss Alps again. This is already my second summer in the mountains after you performed hip surgery in April 2007.

I went to this practice for an ailment/injury to my left wrist (hasn't prevented me from Yelping altogether ... yet) and forgot to review them, till I remembered I have surgery this week!! My dad had surgery with Dr. Peyton for his shoulder and is on the mend....extremely happy with his experience at this practice as well.
From the moment I had contacted this medical office via phone I felt welcomed and important enough to pay attention to - customer service Ya'll know how much I dig good, no great, customer service. Arriving in the well appointed office I actually saw some people I knew waiting for their appointments, bonus as I got to catch up socially!
Dr. Griffith took time to really speak to me, investigate what was going on and evaluate my options...not that I'm looking forward to surgery I am looking forward to full use of my left hand and being pain free very soon!! If you are looking for a team of specialists in the orthopaedics field...hobble, crawl, or spin your wheels to get there!!

Dear Aischa,
Thanks for all your help. You got me across the finish line in 7 hours and 21 minutes. Next year it will be at least 1 minute less.

Dear Dr. John,
I want you to know it (knee pain) is better now, after just one injection with more flexibility, and almost no pain.
I wish I could say what this means to me. For years it has determined when I could walk and where I could sit—depending upon finding a support for my knee. It has held me hostage, sending strikes of pain up and down my leg if I failed to position the knee correctly.
You, Dr. John are responsible for my relief—of the back and knee as well. How totally consuming and defeating is severe pain!
Thanks entirely to you, the daily dread of attacks of pain have been blunted. Thanks for the lifetime you have given me Dr. John.
Since, in my case, it generates from my cervical and lumbar spine, my knee and the whim of peripheral neuropathy, I feel very tenuous.

Dr. Peyton,
Please accept this book as a token of my appreciation for your skills as both a surgeon as well as a small business man.
Your reputation as a fine surgeon is well know, and well found in Northern Virginia. I suspect you have replaced joints on half my neighbors. Each, including myself, has praised your skills as well as the ultimate improvement to our quality of life.
Your skill as a small business man is evidenced by the excellent office staff associated with Arthritis & Sports Orthopaedics. Phone calls are answered quickly, instructions to patients are clear and concise, questions are answered without hesitation and with complete honesty, etc. You, yourself returned my call well into the evening after what I am sure was a long day. A gesture that was most appreciated.
As a patient, I have personally benefited from you and your staff, for which I am most grateful.
You and I discussed this book and I trust you will find it interesting as well as informative. The B2 flag lapel pin is courtesy of James M. Graham, USAF (Ret), my son who served his country for over 20 years, many of those years working with the bomber.
