Dr. Peyton received his undergraduate degree from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Virginia and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He served as an intern at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Peyton also served his residency and acted as Chief Resident in Orthopaedic Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement surgery at The Rothman Institute of the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
L. Sam Wilson, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Wilson received his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. His Doctor of Medicine degree was obtained from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He served his Orthopaedic residency at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. He completed his Foot and Ankle Fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He is an assistant professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and recently served on the Orthopaedic teaching staff at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Chinwe D. John, M.D.

Dr. John received her medical degree from the College of medicine University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1998. She went on to do a one year Family practice internship at EKO Hospital, Lagos as well as a preliminary medicine internship at Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia as a required precursor to her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency. She completed her PM&R residency at Albert
Einstein/Montefiore Hospital in New York. Dr. John is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist (a Physiatrist). As a Physiatrist her areas of expertise
include management of muscoloskeletal disorders, sports related injuries, neck and back pain, pre and post surgical rehabilitation, Electromyography/Nerve

Matthew H. Griffith, M.D.
Board Eligible – Specializing in Sports Injuries, Shoulder and Elbow
Dr. Griffith is focused on the non-operative and surgical treatment of patients with sports injuries and disorders of the shoulder and upper extremity. Dr. Griffith attended Duke University for his undergraduate education and received his M.D. from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery (Weill Medical College of Cornell University) in New York City. Subsequently, he received fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard University). Dr. Griffith is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Griffith is dedicated to providing state of the art care for patients with sports injuries and athletic, traumatic, and degenerative disorders of the shoulder and elbow.
